Brad is Serra Health’s Principal and one of its co-founders. Prior to co-founding Serra Health, Brad served as a Regional Sales Vice President for Leidos Health, and was responsible for managing a team of Sales Executives, Client Service Mgrs., and Account Development Executives. Brad’s duties were to drive Area revenues, manage costs, develop team members and provide timely and accurate forecast and financial reporting information to Leidos Executive Leadership. Brad joined Vitalize Consulting Solutions, an SV Life Sciences portfolio company, through its 2009 acquisition of r3 Health Partners ($15.5M Revenue) where Brad joined r3 Health Partners in 2007 and served in the capacity of Senior Vice President of Business Development, responsible for managing the sales team and driving sales. At Vitalize Consulting Solutions, Brad served as Vice President, Western Division, responsible for an annual revenue budget of $45M prior to the acquisition of Vitalize Consulting Solutions by SAIC in August 2011. Prior to 2007, Brad served five years as Regional Vice President with maxIT Healthcare, LLC., three years with Modis Professional Services as an Account Executive in the Healthcare Business Unit, five years with DAOU Systems, (a Healthcare Technology Integration firm), as an Account Executive and two years with Integrated Health Systems, a healthcare software development firm in the role of Business Development Mgr.
As the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Serra Health Consulting, Erin brings nearly 20 years of healthcare IT sales, marketing, and consulting expertise to the team. Erin started her healthcare IT career as one of Epic’s first 100 employees, where she focused on turning around implementations gone awry. Since departing Epic, she has served in a leadership capacity for firms such as First Consulting Group, Healthia Consulting, and Vitalize/Leidos. Erin’s particular area of expertise is in assisting early stage healthcare IT companies with building their business development and marketing strategies, including hands-on creation of a variety of marketing collateral. As, in addition to her healthcare IT experience, Erin has 20+ years of experience as a graphic and web designer. Prior to her work in healthcare IT, Erin was in practice as a clinical psychologist, specializing in adolescents and their families. She’s found this latter experience very, very helpful during her consulting career.
Prior to founding Serra Health Consulting, John founded r3 Health Partners in 2006, an HIT services firm focused on EHR implementation and optimization serving clients such as Stanford Health and Hospital System, Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Johns Hopkins Hospital. In 2009, r3 was merged into Vitalize Consulting and other leading HIT consulting firms to form Leidos Health, one of the nation’s largest HIT consulting firms, for which John served as an executive overseeing Meditech, McKesson and Epic practice lines serving over 200 clients across the nation with services including implementation, optimization and legacy system support. John’s career in healthcare technology services began in 1992 with National Healthtech Corporation (Affiliated Computer Services), which provided technology outsourcing and integration services to large academic hospitals. He then spent several years in operations and business development roles for a variety of well-known HIT consultancies where he focused developing partnerships with solution providers and business relationships with large hospital networks across the United States.
Kelly serves as Serra Health’s Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining Serra Health, Kelly was a part of r3 Health Partners, where she served as their Operations Manager. With the merger of r3 and Vitalize Consulting in 2009, she successfully served in a variety of roles in the combined company, including Operations Manager, Consulting Services Group Manager and Epic Resource Manager. After Leidos’ acquisition of Vitalize, Kelly transitioned into an Epic Consulting Practice Manager role, where she was responsible for the management and professional development of up to 100 Epic consultants. Kelly’s career in information technology began in 1997 at Mindspring (and later, EarthLink) in Atlanta, Ga. She then spent several years in operations before relocating to Southern California.
Ray, Serra Health’s Vice President of Sales for the Eastern United States, is a seasoned technology professional with over 25 years of experience partnering with his healthcare clients to help them achieve their clinical and financial goals. Ray resides in Baltimore and works with key clients in the eastern United States. Prior to joining Serra Health, he managed client relationships for leading solution providers such as Philips Healthcare, Cerner and GE Healthcare. Ray lives in the Baltimore area where he enjoys golfing, attending sporting events and spending time with his wife and their four young children. He can also been seen cheering on Brenda’s Way, the thoroughbred racehorse that he owns in partnership with several close friends.
